Skywise Airline Bookings
The latest addition to the commercial aviation industry in South Africa, Skywise Airlines, is offering people some of the lowest rates in air travel combined with a red carpet treatment. The demand for low cost tickets is at an all-time high, so no doubt people are intrigued by Skywise Airlines and their booking procedure and services that they offer to customers.
How to make Skywise Airline Bookings?
Skywise Airline bookings can be done at their airport offices. Skywise only operates from a few airports in South Africa but this is due to change with many new destinations expected to open up in their schedule.
Skywise Airline bookings can be done over the phone by calling their call centre. Telephonically is also the only way to book or arrange services for special needs guests.
Skywise Airline bookings can be done online on the Skywise Airlines website. Unlike the tickets sales office and the call centre, the online option is open 24 hours a day.
Doing Skywise Airline bookings is a 6 step process. Customers can do it themselves online or call in to the call centre or ticket sales office for help. With help or not, the process remains the same.
- Customers would have to search for flights. This would be done by giving in details on date and destinations as well as how many seats will be needed, as well as whether the seats will be for an adult or a child. Children over 12 years will have to pay the adult rate.
- When the list of available flights comes through, customers will have to choose one. Several flights are offered during a single date so choosing one most convenient is the way to go.
- Personal details are then given. Contact details such as address, telephone and email address are then given as well. An additional domestic insurance or charity donation is also done at this point if the customer chooses to do so.
- Skywise Airline bookings also allow for customers to choose seats. This does come at an added cost but passengers will not have to wait until check-in to get their preferred seat. It can be locked in at this point.
- Payment for Skywise Airline bookings can be done by credit card, PayU – EFT_PRO, or SID. If the customer has a voucher then the PIN along with reference details is also given to redeem it.
- Once payment has been accepted, then the flight can be confirmed. The customer will be issued with a booking reference number which will be used during check-in or to amend a booking.
Skywise Airlines has a ticket-less travel service. Booking confirmation is simply the unique number given at booking confirmations.
A reservation will only be confirmed when payment is processed. EFT payments will not reflect immediately and will only be updated to paid status once Skywise Airlines confirms the amount in their account. Only once the flight is confirmed, will the booking be confirmed.
Skywise Airline bookings made 24 hours before a flight departs must be paid within an hour of reservation or the booking will be cancelled.
What is offered with Skywise Airline Bookings?
Included in the ticket cost is the inflight magazine, SKYE. Customers who have confirmed bookings can look forward to the free copy during their flight.

Skywise Airlines does not allow for women over 36 weeks in their pregnancy to book flight tickets due to safety concerns. Women between 28 to 35 weeks pregnant may book Skywise Airline tickets, however they must present a medical certificate of clearance for flying during check-in.
